Celebrating 2022 Midterm Results!
Democrats came through the midterms with one additional seat in the Senate, well below expected losses in the House, and crucial gains at the state level. Moreover, much of Biden’s legislative agenda became law — including a massive spending package that will lower prescription drug prices, strengthen the health care law, and pump close to $370 billion into the fight against climate change -- Michael A. Cohen
The U.S. Senate passed a bill to fight climate change and cut drug costs in a major win for Democrats.
In the past 18 months, Democrats have...
- rebuilt the economy after the pandemic shattered it,
- invested in technology and science,
- expanded the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to stand against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine,
- eliminated al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri,
- pulled troops out of Afghanistan,
- passed the first gun safety law in almost 30 years,
- put a Black woman on the Supreme Court,
- reauthorized the Violence Against Women Act,
- addressed the needs of veterans exposed to toxic burn pits, and
- invested in our roads, bridges, and manufacturing

Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act
President Joe Biden has signed the $1.2 trillion bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act into law!
Since 1981, the United States have badly underinvested in our infrastructure. Now our bridges are crumbling, and some of our water pipes are still leaching lead into our drinking water. After months of hard negotiation this bipartisan bill will bring imperative investment into our country.
“This new law makes the most significant investment in roads and bridges in the past 70 years, the most significant investment in passenger rail in the past 50 years, and the most significant investment in public transit in our nation's history… “We’re finally getting this done.”
